JOLENE MARTENS

ARTIST STATEMENT

My work lives in the space between spontaneity and intention, drawing from the everyday. It carries a peaceful elegance that holds space for you, often described as soft yet contemplative. My process moves between the bright things and hard things in life, from energetic to quiet moments, shaped by a sincerity that guides me in the studio. I release each piece with a desire to cheer others on in life and trust that it will meet someone honestly, wherever they may find themselves.
