KAREN ROBB

ARTIST STATEMENT

My practice explores memory, resilience, and transformation through an ongoing engagement with nature, architecture, and the human form. Working between representation and abstraction, I use light, shadow, layered colour, and texture to investigate the emotional histories carried by people, objects, and spaces.

I am drawn to the dialogue between fragility and endurance, presence and absence, permanence and decay. By disrupting familiar imagery, I create psychologically charged spaces that invite viewers to form their own personal and emotional connections with the work.
